Basic School in Kingston Jamaica Gets “Spruced Up” in Collaborative Activity

Recently, members of the Japan International Cooperation Agency Alumni Association of Jamaica (JAAJ) and the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme Alumni Association of Jamaica (JETAA Jamaica) visited the Paradise Street Basic School in East Kingston to satisfy four pressing needs of the school: to install a toilet in the teachers' rest room  to refurbish the students' bathroom to repaint the two classrooms to install whiteboards in the classrooms  The principal of the school, Ms. Terika Grant, along with the class teachers, parents and students met the team.   Mr. Hiroyuki Okazaki, JICA's Project Formulation Advisor, and m embers of JAAJ and JETAA Jamaica, along with Principal Ms. Terika Grant, at the Paradise Street Basic School   Room being prepared for installation of white board and painting by JETAA Jamaica volunteer, Orrette Muir White board being installed by member of JAAJ      Volunteers from JETAA Jamaica, Orrette Muir and Tereka Brown paint...
