Recently, members of the Japan International Cooperation Agency Alumni Association of Jamaica (JAAJ) and the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme Alumni Association of Jamaica (JETAA Jamaica) visited the Paradise Street Basic School in East Kingston to satisfy four pressing needs of the school:

  • to install a toilet in the teachers' rest room
  • to refurbish the students' bathroom
  • to repaint the two classrooms
  • to install whiteboards in the classrooms

The principal of the school, Ms. Terika Grant, along with the class teachers, parents and students met the team.
