JETAA-I International

JETAA International, or JETAA-I, comprises the global community of former participants in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme and their JET Alumni Association chapters. JETAA-I exists to support chapters and individual alumni by providing information and services, as well as by serving as a central point of contact for anyone wishing to learn about or engage with the alumni.

AJET

The Association for Japan Exchange and Teaching (AJET) is a volunteer organisation of JET Programme participants. AJET serves the JET community by building support networks, organising useful information, and offering resources to enhance the lives of the Programme participants in Japan and abroad. It maintains a counselling service and an online magazine, and voices the opinions and concerns of JETs to CLAIR and the Japanese government ministries that manage the JET Programme.

The Japan Exchange & Teaching  Programme

The Japan Exchange & Teaching  programme is one of the largest exchange programmes in the world. JET has flourished because it receives wide support from a variety of sources, most notably from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR).

The JET Programme website has a wealth of information for aspiring JETscurrent JETs and former JETs.
